After many years of pastoral service in New York, California, Wisconsin, and Michigan, the Trans are now embarking in faith on God’s call to itinerant evangelism ministries. The burden for evangelism has long weighed on their hearts and they believe the Lord is saying “Now is the time.”
Not only do the Trans come with the call of God to preach but Marilyn adds to their ministry by her gifted singing and keyboard ministry.
The Trans have been very active on our district in various ministries including the district SDMI council and leading marriage enrichment retreats. The Trans are trained in this important area which adds a wonderful dimension to their ministry. Also, Dave Tran has served faithfully on the Michigan District’s “New Start Strategy Team” for the past several years. Church planting has long been a passion of his as is demonstrated by the number of churches he has planted across the years.
This compulsion to introduce people to Christ and lead believers into the sanctifying work of God is now leading them to become evangelists.
